Garden designer and historian Kirk Moore has worked on significant projects for Colonial Willamsburg, the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation, Historic Savannah Foundation and countless private clients. His QVC show American Gardener was for years a hugely popular source for garden essentials and decor. Moore was also a garden and lifestyle correspondent for Good Morning America on ABC.
For 20 years, his partner Don Fry and he developed botanically inspired product collections for major international and national retailers, including Smith & Hawken, Saks Fifth Avenue, Anthropologie, and Takashimaya.
In 2008, Moore and Fry began a relationship with the Old Edwards Inn & Spa in Highlands, North Carolina providing all floral décor and event styling. Their eponymous flagship shop on 4th Street in Highlands is the perfect place for the those seeking unique home gifts, signature florals, or anything possibly needed for garden aesthetics.
In summer 2012, Oakleaf opened a location in Cashiers, North Carolina at 113 Hwy 64 East at Chesnut Square, purveying their signature products with curated antiques, garden necessities, and home décor goods. An Oakleaf Atlanta, Georgia outpost followed in 2014 at 2395 Peachtree Road. A location in Charleston, South Caroline is soon to come!
